I am delighted that you are considering my psychoanalytic practice for your therapy needs. There are many reasons why people consider a depth or a psychoanalytic approach to therapy. Perhaps the most common issues addressed are those of
•depression
•anxiety or
•relationship difficulties.
However, the goal of psychoanalytic work is not simply solving problems or coping with psychological crisis. Analysis intends to help individuals develop a deeper understanding and acceptance of themselves and to help people become mature, well-functioning human beings with a renewed sense of their own individual path in life – in effect to become the best “me” possible. Also, it is NOT a requirement to meet more than once each week to work psychoanalytically. Please read more about Jungian Analysis by clicking on the link above.
I offer a free initial telephone consultation. If you decide to meet in person, during our first meeting we will begin to explore your goals and desired outcomes for analysis in more depth. Most importantly, the first session provides an opportunity for you to determine if you think we will work well together. Psychoanalysis is a large commitment of time, money and energy and so you should choose an analyst carefully. I strongly believe you should be comfortable, encouraged and optimistic with the analyst you choose.
